iPhone Screen Repair in Singapore

A cracked iPhone screen is the repair we do most, and the price swings more than people expect: from $35 on an older model up to several hundred on a recent Pro. What decides it is which iPhone you have and which part grade you pick. Every price on this page is nett, so the figure you are quoted is the figure you pay, and every screen we fit carries a warranty of up to 100 days.

There are three ways to do an iPhone screen, and the right one depends on how much you care about the panel being identical to the one Apple shipped. Original Grade is the one most people take: an OEM-equivalent display at a sensible price, priced per model in the table above. Grade AAA costs less again and makes sense on an older iPhone you are nursing along. For eligible iPhone repairs we can also fit a genuine Apple display through the Apple Independent Repair Provider programme, which is the only route that keeps True Tone and the full factory brightness behaving exactly as they did new.

If the glass is cracked but the picture underneath is perfect, ask us about glass-only replacement before you pay for a full display. Is It the Glass, the Display, or Something Behind It?

Three faults look similar from the outside and cost very different amounts to put right, so it is worth knowing which one you have before you come in.

• Cracked glass, picture still perfect. Touch works, colours are right, you can read everything through the cracks. Often the cheapest outcome, and sometimes a glass-only job rather than a whole display.
• Black, blank, or backlight only. The phone rings and vibrates but shows nothing, or shows a very faint image in a dark room. Usually the display itself. See why an iPhone screen goes black.
• Green or white wash, or flickering lines. A known failure on several generations and not something that improves on its own. We cover it in green lines and flickering on an iPhone screen.
• Taps landing in the wrong place, or the phone typing by itself. Ghost touch. The digitiser rather than the picture, and the fix is still a display. More in how to fix iPhone ghost touch.
• Nothing on screen after a drop, and the phone will not charge either. That combination points past the display at the board, which is quoted after a free diagnosis rather than priced from a table.

Why iPhone Screen Prices Vary So Much

The table above runs from $35 to several hundred, which looks strange until you know what is in a screen. Three things move it.

The panel technology. The older LCD iPhones use a cheap, widely made panel. From the X onwards most are OLED, where the display, the glass and the touch layer are bonded into one part, and that part costs multiples of an LCD. There is no version of this repair where an OLED is as cheap as an LCD.

The size. A Pro Max panel is simply more material than the equivalent Pro, and the price follows.

The grade you choose. On the same model you might see $30 at Grade AAA and $355 for a genuine Apple display under the IRP programme. Both are real repairs with the same warranty and the same fitting; what differs is how close the panel is to the original and whether True Tone survives.

How Long Does an iPhone Screen Replacement Take?

Most iPhone screens are done in about 45 to 90 minutes at the counter, and you keep your data: a screen replacement does not touch what is on the phone, so nothing needs backing up or wiping for our sake. Back it up anyway if you have not lately, because that is sensible before any repair.

Some jobs run longer and we would rather say so than surprise you. A screen that was replaced badly somewhere else, a frame bent enough that a new panel will not seat flat, or water sitting behind the display all add time, and a few turn into board work that is quoted after diagnosis. If yours is one of those we tell you at the counter, before you commit.

Is It Worth Replacing an iPhone Screen?

A rough rule: if the screen costs less than about a third of what the phone is worth, replace it and keep the phone. On most iPhones the screen is the single most expensive part, so that maths turns on the model more than anything else. An older iPhone with a cracked LCD is cheap to fix and well worth it. A recent Pro Max with a smashed OLED is a bigger number, and still usually less than a new phone.

Two reasons not to leave it. A crack that reaches the edge lets dust and moisture in, and the damage spreads from the display to the parts behind it, which is a more expensive repair than the one you were putting off. And a broken screen drops the trade-in value further than the repair costs, so if you were thinking of upgrading anyway, fixing it first often nets you more. What we would not recommend is a DIY kit. The panel is bonded, the connectors are fragile, and the Face ID hardware is paired to the phone: a slip there turns a screen job into a Face ID job. We would rather talk you out of it than fix it afterwards.
