Laptop Repair in Singapore

Cracked screen, a battery that dies the moment you unplug, a hinge that has started lifting the bezel off the lid. Those three are most of what crosses our bench, and every one of them has a price band published below before you bring the machine in. Four walk-in branches, free diagnosis, nett quotes, 30-100 days warranty.

Citri Mobile is an independent laptop repair shop in Singapore with four branches, 15+ years on the bench and 1100+ Google reviews. We take Windows laptops, MacBook and Surface — Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, MSI, Samsung and Huawei — for the repairs people actually need: screens, batteries, keyboards, hinges, board-level faults and data recovery.

Laptop Repair Price Guide

These bands cover every Windows laptop we take, whatever the badge on the lid. Where your machine lands inside a band comes down to the part it needs, which is what the free diagnosis settles. MacBook and Microsoft Surface are not on this list — those are priced model by model, further down.

Which Laptop Needs Repairing?

Seven brands have a page of their own, with the faults, the model-number lookup and the quirks particular to each. Three are priced per model on their existing pages instead.

We also take Oppo, Vivo, Sony, Xiaomi machines where we can source the part. Those brands sell few laptops here, so rather than guess we will tell you what we can get for your model before you travel — message us the number off the underside sticker.

Repairs by Type

MacBook and Microsoft Surface Are Priced Per Model

The bands above are for Windows laptops, where the part is ordered against your machine. MacBook and Surface work differently, because we hold parts for them and publish a price for every model we carry.

LaptopModels pricedScreen fromBattery fromCharging port from
MacBook Air & Pro 45S$140S$85S$85
Microsoft Surface 17S$135S$80S$85

MacBook also covers keyboards from S$130, trackpads from S$120 and liquid damage from S$80. We fit Original Grade parts on MacBook and issue our own written warranty. Full per-model prices are on the MacBook repair page.

Is It Actually the Part You Think It Is?

Three of the most expensive laptop repairs have a cheap impostor that looks identical from the outside. Worth five minutes before anyone quotes you.

How Do I Find My Laptop Model Number?

Panels and batteries are ordered against the exact model, not the name on the box, so this is the single most useful thing you can send us. It is on the sticker on the underside of every laptop. If that has rubbed off, each brand has its own shortcut:

A photo of the fault helps as much as the number does. Between the two we can usually tell you what it is and roughly what it costs before you leave the house.

Is Your Laptop Worth Repairing?

A rough rule that has served our customers well: if the repair costs less than about a third of what the same machine sells for used, repair it. A screen, a battery or a hinge on a laptop that is otherwise healthy clears that bar comfortably almost every time. Where it gets marginal is board-level work on an older machine, and we will say plainly when the money is better put toward a replacement. We would rather lose the job than take it on something not worth fixing.

There is a case people forget. Manufacturers stop supporting older machines, and once a model is off official parts support the service centre cannot help you even if you are willing to pay. An independent shop can still source a panel or a battery for a laptop the brand has moved on from. If you have already been turned away, that is usually why.

And a word on doing it yourself. Battery and screen swaps look simple in a video and mostly are not. Laptops are held together with adhesive and ribbon cables that tear if you lift the wrong way, and a torn display cable turns a battery job into a much larger one. If you have already opened it and something has gone wrong, bring it in anyway. We see plenty of those and nobody is going to lecture you.

Where to Find a Laptop Repair Shop in Singapore

Citri Mobile has walk-in branches for laptop repair at People’s Park Centre (Chinatown), Tampines, Yishun and Jurong Point, open 11am–9pm daily — full addresses and directions on our locations page, and travel times from each estate under areas we serve. No appointment is needed, but message us first so we can confirm the part for your model is in stock before you make the trip, since laptop parts are ordered to the model rather than kept on the shelf.

We repair phones and tablets too, so a household with mixed devices can use one place. The full range is on repair services, every brand we carry is listed under mobile repair Singapore, and there is a separate Apple device repair page covering iPhone, iPad, MacBook and Apple Watch. If your laptop turns out not to be worth repairing, we also do trade-ins.

Laptop Repair FAQs

Which laptop brands do you repair in Singapore?
Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, MSI, Samsung Galaxy Book, Huawei MateBook, Apple MacBook and Microsoft Surface, plus Oppo, Vivo, Sony and Xiaomi machines where we can source the part. Screens, batteries, keyboards, speakers, hinges, motherboard repair, Windows reinstallation and data recovery. Four walk-in branches, free diagnosis on all of it.
How much does laptop repair cost in Singapore?
Windows laptops run on price bands rather than a per-model list: screens from S$130 depending on whether the lid is touch, batteries S$80–S$150, keyboards, speakers and hinges each in their own band, and motherboard work quoted across a wider range because what has failed is not knowable until the board is open. MacBook and Microsoft Surface are priced per model on their own pages. Prices are nett, with nothing added at collection.
Which is the best laptop repair shop in Singapore?
Judge it on what you can check rather than who says it loudest. Citri Mobile publishes a price for every laptop repair on this page instead of asking you to enquire, gives a free diagnosis before you commit, quotes nett with nothing added at collection, has four walk-in branches, and issues a 30-100 days warranty honoured at any of them regardless of which one did the work. We will also tell you when the manufacturer should be fixing it under warranty, and when a machine is not worth repairing — which is not something a shop chasing every job would do.
Is there a laptop repair shop near me?
That depends where you are, and the honest answer is that we have four branches rather than one in every estate: People’s Park Centre in Chinatown for the centre, Tampines for the east, Yishun for the north and Jurong Point for the west. Most of Singapore is within a short MRT ride of one of them — the areas we serve page lists the route and travel time from each estate. If you are not near any of them, message us the model and the fault first, because knowing what it needs before you travel is worth more than the distance.
Why is a touchscreen laptop screen more expensive than a normal one?
Because the glass and the display are bonded into one assembly, so both get replaced together. A non-touch laptop screen is a bare LCD panel that unclips from the lid, which makes it the cheaper of the two. Size, resolution and refresh rate then move the figure within each band — a high-refresh gaming panel sits at the top.
Do you need to see the laptop before quoting?
Not always. Send us the model number and a photo of the fault and we can usually tell you the band and a likely figure before you travel. What we will not do is confirm a final number without looking, because three different faults can look identical from outside and only one of them needs the expensive part.
How long does a laptop repair take?
The work itself is rarely the constraint. Laptop parts are ordered against your exact model rather than kept on a shelf, so the timing depends on the part, and we give you a realistic figure when we quote rather than a number we cannot keep to. Board-level and data-recovery work is quoted after a free diagnosis.
My laptop will not turn on at all. Is it worth bringing in?
Yes, and test the charger on another machine first — a failed adapter looks exactly like a dead laptop and costs nothing to rule out. If the charger is fine, it is board-level and we diagnose it free. Even when a board is beyond economic repair, the storage usually is not, so your files are generally still recoverable.
My laptop battery is swollen. What should I do?
Stop charging it and stop using it. If the trackpad sits raised, the case has started to separate or the machine rocks on a flat table, the cell has swollen. It can crack the chassis or the screen from the inside and is a fire risk if punctured. Bring it in rather than finish the week on it.
Can you get my files off a laptop that will not boot?
Usually. A dead motherboard does not mean dead storage. If the drive is intact the files come off it regardless of whether the machine will ever start again — that is hardware-level recovery. If the drive itself has failed, the odds depend on how, and we will tell you honestly after the free diagnosis.
Do you use original parts on laptop repairs?
We fit Original Grade parts or a quality equivalent, and we name the grade in the quote before you agree to anything. No independent shop in Singapore has a manufacturer parts programme for Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, MSI, Samsung or Huawei laptops, so anyone promising you factory parts on an out-of-warranty Windows machine is telling you a story.
My laptop is still under warranty. Should I go to the manufacturer instead?
If the fault appeared on its own, with no drop, no crack and no spill, take it to the brand first — that repair may cost you nothing and we will tell you so rather than take the job. Accidental damage, liquid damage and a battery worn out after three or four years are not covered by any manufacturer warranty at any age. That is the gap we fill.
Can I walk in without an appointment?
Yes, any day from 11am to 9pm at People’s Park Centre in Chinatown, Tampines, Yishun or Jurong Point. Message or call first though, so we can confirm we have the part for your model before you make the trip. Laptop parts in particular are ordered to the model rather than kept in stock.
Will I lose my files during a repair?
Screen, battery, keyboard, speaker and hinge repairs do not touch your storage, so nothing is wiped. Board-level and liquid-damage work is less predictable and we say so before starting. Windows reinstallation does erase the drive by design, which is why we ask about your files first. Every repair carries a 30-100 days warranty.
