OnePlus Repair FAQs
- Where can I repair a OnePlus phone in Singapore?
- Citri Mobile repairs OnePlus phones at four walk-in branches: People's Park Centre in Chinatown, Tampines, Yishun and Jurong Point. No appointment needed, but message us first so we can confirm we have the part for your variant in stock. If your phone is still under OnePlus warranty and the fault appeared on its own, check with OnePlus first, since that repair may cost you nothing.
- How do I fix the green line on my OnePlus screen?
- You can't fix it in software, and factory resets and update rollbacks won't clear it. A green line that appears on its own is a failure in the AMOLED panel's driver connection, common on the OnePlus 8 and 9 generation, and the display has to be replaced. Screen replacement starts from $55 depending on the model.
- Where is the OnePlus service centre in Singapore?
- OnePlus handles Singapore support through service.oneplus.com, where you can check your warranty status and the current service arrangements. That's the right route for an in-warranty fault on a locally bought phone. For accidental damage, out-of-warranty repairs, or an imported unit, an independent shop is usually the faster answer.
- Can you repair a OnePlus bought overseas?
- Yes. Plenty of OnePlus phones here were imported, and official channels often decline service on a variant never sold in this market. That restriction doesn't apply to us. Send us the model number so we order the right part, since the global, Indian and Chinese variants aren't always interchangeable.
- How much is a OnePlus screen replacement in Singapore?
- From $55 depending on the model, using Original Grade parts. Prices are nett with nothing added at collection, and your exact model's price is on its own page in the grid above.
- How much is a OnePlus battery replacement?
- From $40 for an Original Grade cell, or from $30 for Grade AAA on older handsets where a cheaper fix makes sense. We name the grade before you agree to anything.
- Which OnePlus models do you repair?
- The flagship numbered line, the Pro and R variants, and Nord including the CE models, going back several generations. If yours is in the grid at the top of this page it has its own repair page with prices. If it isn't there, message us the model number anyway, because parts availability is the real limit rather than willingness.
- Do you use original OnePlus parts?
- No, and no independent shop in Singapore can honestly claim to. OnePlus has no parts programme for independent repairers here, so we fit Original Grade parts or a quality equivalent and tell you the grade before you agree. Manufacturer parts only come through OnePlus's own channel.
- How long does a OnePlus repair take?
- Most screen and battery jobs take about 45 to 90 minutes when your part is in stock. If your model needs longer we'll say so when we quote. Water damage and board-level faults take longer and are timed after the free diagnosis rather than promised in advance.
- Is fast charging damaging my OnePlus battery?
- It shortens its life rather than damaging it outright. Heat is what wears lithium cells, and pushing 65W or 100W generates heat, so a heavily fast-charged phone tends to need a battery sooner. Using optimised charging and not leaving it on the fast charger every night helps. When it does wear out, a replacement restores the phone completely.
- Will I lose my data during a OnePlus repair?
- No. Screen, battery, charging port and camera repairs don't require a factory reset, so your photos, apps and settings stay on the phone. Back it up before any repair regardless, on any phone, anywhere.
- Which is the best OnePlus repair shop in Singapore?
- Judge it on what you can verify. Citri Mobile has four walk-in branches, is CaseTrust accredited and a Carousell Preferred Partner, gives a free diagnosis before you commit, prices nett with nothing added at the counter, and issues a written warranty of up to 100 days honoured at any branch. We'll also tell you when OnePlus should be covering the repair instead of us.
A Trusted OnePlus Repair Shop in Singapore: Fast, Affordable and Data-Safe
Citri Mobile is an independent OnePlus repair shop in Singapore, covering the flagship line from the OnePlus 6 era through the current models, plus Nord and the CE and R variants. Screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, back glass, liquid damage and board-level work all happen at the same counter. Repairs are quoted nett after a free diagnosis, most are done while you wait when your part is in stock, and your data stays on the phone.
Two things bring OnePlus owners to us more than anything else, and neither is a dropped phone. The first is the green line down the display that appears on its own, usually after an update, on the 8 and 9 generation AMOLED panels. The second is a battery that stopped keeping up, which is what years of 65W and 100W charging does to a cell. Screen replacement starts from $55 and batteries from $40.
OnePlus Service Centre in Singapore or an Independent Repair Shop: Which Do You Need?
Straight answer first. Citri Mobile has no tie to OnePlus, and if your phone is inside its Singapore warranty and the fault appeared on its own, take it to OnePlus before paying anyone. That repair may cost you nothing. OnePlus handles Singapore support through its own service site, where you can check warranty status and find the current service arrangements. You'll see it written OnePlus service centre Singapore, or OnePlus service center Singapore with the American spelling.
Where it gets awkward for OnePlus owners specifically is that a lot of these phones weren't bought here. OnePlus built its following on imported units, and a global or Indian-variant handset bought online is routinely refused by official channels because it was never sold in this market. If that describes your phone, the warranty question is already answered and an independent shop is the practical route.
The rest of what we see falls outside any warranty anyway. Cracked screens and liquid damage aren't covered at any age by any manufacturer. A battery worn down after three years of fast charging is wear, not a defect. And once a model is old enough that official parts support has ended, the official centre can't help you even if you want to pay. We can usually still source a panel or a battery for those.
How Much Does OnePlus Repair Cost in Singapore? Cheap and Affordable Options
Prices start from the figures below, taken from our live price list. Everything is nett, so what we quote after diagnosis is what you pay at collection.
| OnePlus repair | From | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| OnePlus Screen and AMOLED Display Replacement Singapore | $55 | 45–90 min |
| OnePlus Battery Replacement Singapore (Original Grade) | $40 | 45–90 min |
| OnePlus Battery Replacement Singapore (Grade AAA) | $30 | 45–90 min |
| OnePlus Charging Port Repair Singapore | $40 | 45–90 min |
| OnePlus Back Glass Replacement Singapore | $45 | 60–120 min |
| OnePlus Front Camera Repair Singapore | $35 | 45–90 min |
| OnePlus Camera Lens Replacement Singapore | $35 | 45–90 min |
| OnePlus Power Button Repair Singapore | $40 | 45–90 min |
| OnePlus Water Damage Repair Singapore | $45 | Quoted after diagnosis |
Board-level work, which is where a phone won't boot, has lost signal or drains flat with nothing running, is quoted after a free diagnosis. We don't know what's failed until it's open, so quoting before that would be guesswork. Times above are what most jobs take, and if yours needs longer you'll hear it when we quote rather than afterwards.
Affordable OnePlus Repair Services We Offer
OnePlus Green Line Screen Repair, from $55
A thin vertical green line appears down the display, usually after a software update, on a phone that was never dropped. It's a known failure on OnePlus AMOLED panels of the 8 and 9 generation, and it's the single most common OnePlus job we see. Nothing you do in software will clear it. The panel's driver connection has failed and the display has to be replaced. We've written the fault up in detail for Samsung green line screens, and the cause and the fix are the same on a OnePlus panel. See OnePlus screen replacement.
OnePlus Battery Replacement, from $40
OnePlus sold itself on charging speed and the batteries pay for it. Pushing 65W or 100W into a cell generates heat, and heat is what wears lithium down. So OnePlus owners tend to notice the drop-off a bit earlier than owners of slower-charging phones. The signs are the usual ones: a fast fall through the middle of the range, shutdowns with charge still showing, and heat while charging that wasn't there before. Original Grade cells start from $40, with Grade AAA from $30 on older handsets. See OnePlus battery replacement.
OnePlus Charging Port Repair, from $40
Fast charging is hard on the port as well as the cell, and the proprietary cables get yanked out at an angle more than most. Signs are a cable that feels loose, charging that only works at one angle, a phone that has quietly dropped to slow charging speeds, or one that stopped charging while the charger tests fine elsewhere. Check for lint first with a torch, because that's free. See OnePlus charging port repair.
OnePlus Back Glass Replacement, from $45
The glass backs on these crack readily and it's worth fixing rather than living with. A cracked back lets dust and moisture reach the internals and the edges catch on your hand. It takes longer than a screen because the panel is bonded and has to be heated off. See OnePlus back glass replacement.
OnePlus Camera Repair, from $35
Most "broken camera" phones that reach us have a cracked rear lens cover rather than a failed module, and that's a cheap, quick fix. Photos that came out fine last month and are hazy now, with no obvious damage, usually mean a scratched or cracked cover. Front camera faults, including face unlock that stopped working, start from $35. See OnePlus camera lens replacement.
OnePlus Water Damage Repair, from $45
Liquid doesn't kill a phone on contact. Corrosion does, over the hours and days afterwards, which is why what you do in the first hour matters more than the accident itself. Don't charge it, don't bury it in rice, and get it opened. We do a full chemical wash and board diagnostics, and we're honest that outcomes depend on how long it sat. See OnePlus water damage repair, or read our guide to spotting and fixing water damage.
How Do I Find My OnePlus Model Before a Repair?
OnePlus naming trips people up more than most, because the same number can be several different phones. A OnePlus 9, a 9 Pro, a 9R and a 9RT have different displays and different batteries, and some of those were never sold in this region at all.
Open Settings, then About device. You want both the marketing name and the model number, which looks like LE2123 or NE2213. That number is the one that identifies the variant, and it's also printed on the box and on the SIM tray on some models. Send us that rather than "a OnePlus 9" and the quote you get will be the price you actually pay. Your handset also has its own page in the model grid at the top of this page, with prices for that exact variant.
How Do I Know If My OnePlus Needs a Battery Replacement?
Three signs are reliable enough to act on. The discharge curve changes shape first: a healthy cell falls steadily, a worn one clings near the top then drops in a rush through the middle. Then come shutdowns with charge still on the meter, which is the cell failing to deliver current under load and the clearest signal there is. Third is heat while charging that wasn't there a year ago.
OnePlus phones running OxygenOS show a battery health estimate in Settings under Battery on newer versions, and it's a useful cross-check rather than the whole answer. There's one OnePlus-specific habit worth mentioning: leaving the phone on the fast charger overnight, every night, is about the hardest life you can give a battery. Optimised charging in Settings helps, and our note on charging your phone overnight explains why. If the phone has swollen, and you'll see the screen lifting at one edge, stop charging it and bring it in.
Common OnePlus Problems We Repair and What Causes Them
- Green line down the display after an update. A known AMOLED panel failure on the 8 and 9 generation. Not software, and it needs a new display.
- Screen tint or uneven brightness at low levels. Panel ageing. Cosmetic at first, but it tends to be an early sign.
- Battery falls off a cliff below 40%. A worn cell, brought on early by years of fast charging.
- Charging slower than it used to. Often the port or the cable rather than the phone deciding to be slow.
- Phone hot while charging and gaining little. Battery or charging circuit. Worth a free diagnosis before you replace anything.
- Cracked rear lens cover. Mistaken for a broken camera constantly. Cheap and quick to fix.
- Alert slider stopped working. Mechanical wear or a flex cable, and it's repairable rather than something to live with.
- Won't turn on at all. Battery, port or board. A free diagnosis tells you which. Our guide on why a phone won't turn on covers what to try first.
Should You Repair or Replace Your OnePlus?
The rough test we use: if the repair costs less than about a third of what the phone fetches used, repair it. A green-line display on a OnePlus 9 that's otherwise perfect clears that easily, and it's a phone that will keep going for years afterwards. A board fault on a six-year-old handset usually doesn't, and we'd rather say so than take the job.
On parts, we're straightforward. OnePlus has no parts programme for independent repairers in Singapore, so we fit Original Grade parts or a quality equivalent, never a manufacturer part, and we name the grade before you agree. Anyone promising factory parts for an out-of-warranty OnePlus is telling you a story.
As for doing it yourself, these phones are more awkward than they look. The back is bonded, the battery is stuck down with adhesive strips that snap, and the display flex tears easily. A ruined display flex turns a battery job into a screen job. If you've already opened it and it went wrong, bring it in, we see those regularly. If it's truly finished, we also do phone trade-ins, and our guide on repair versus replace lays out the decision.
How Does Citri Mobile OnePlus Repair Work?
- Send the model number. The one from Settings, About device, not just the marketing name. A photo of the fault helps too.
- Free diagnosis. We find what has actually failed. Often it's the cheaper of the two possibilities, and you should know that before paying.
- A nett quote you approve. One number, nothing added later. Decide not to proceed and the diagnosis still costs nothing.
- The repair. Most screen and battery jobs are done while you wait when we have the part for your variant in stock.
- Tested, then warranty. We check the repair before handing it back and it leaves with a written warranty.
Is There a Warranty on OnePlus Repairs?
- Repairs carry a written warranty of up to 100 days depending on the job, honoured at any of our branches rather than only the one that did the work.
- No fix, no fee. If we can't repair it, you don't pay for the attempt.
- Your data stays put. Screen, battery, port and camera repairs don't involve a factory reset. Our guide to protecting your data before a repair is worth two minutes anyway.
- Prices are nett. The quote after diagnosis is the figure at collection.
- On water damage the warranty covers the parts we replaced. Corrosion appearing later somewhere we didn't touch is a separate fault, and we'll tell you that honestly.
