My LG still works but the screen is black or cracked. Is that the same repair?

Usually, yes. Glass, touch layer and display are bonded into one part on nearly every modern phone, so a black screen with a working phone underneath and a cracked screen that still displays both come down to replacing that assembly. It's worth doing while the display still works — a crack lets in dust and moisture, and once those reach the layers you get dead touch or lines across the picture instead of a clean fix.

What does Original Grade mean — is it the same as the factory screen?
