Phone Screen Repair Prices by Brand

Phone Screen Repair FAQs

How much does phone screen repair cost in Singapore?
It depends on the brand and the model, so use the table above for a live starting price per brand and then your exact model for its own figure. Panel type is the biggest factor: an OLED or AMOLED screen costs considerably more than an LCD. Every price is nett, with nothing added at collection.
How long does it take to replace a phone screen?
Most screen replacements take about 45 to 90 minutes when your part is in stock, and you are welcome to wait. Curved, folding and laptop screens take longer, and we will tell you the realistic timing when we quote.
Will I lose my photos and apps if I replace the screen?
No. Replacing a screen does not require a factory reset, so your data stays on the device. Back it up before any repair regardless. On phones where the fingerprint sensor sits under the display, you will need to register your fingerprint again afterwards.
Can you repair just the cracked glass and keep my display?
On some models, yes, and it costs less. It only works when the picture underneath is perfect and touch responds everywhere. If the display shows lines, dead spots or discolouration, the whole assembly has to be replaced. The free diagnosis tells you which one you are looking at.
My screen is cracked but still works. Can I leave it?
You can, but it usually gets worse rather than staying still. Glass dust and moisture get into the digitiser through the crack, so a screen that responds perfectly today often develops dead patches or ghost touch within weeks, and that turns a cheaper repair into a dearer one.
Do you use original parts for screen replacement?
Original Grade parts as standard across every brand here, named before you agree to the repair. For iPhone we also participate in Apple's Independent Repair Provider programme, so we can fit genuine Apple parts for eligible iPhone repairs under the Apple IRP programme. No equivalent manufacturer programme is open to independent shops in Singapore for the other brands, so we do not claim one.
Which phone brands do you repair screens for?
Every brand in the table above, currently twenty of them, covering iPhone, Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, vivo, Huawei, Honor, OnePlus, realme, Google Pixel, Sony, LG, Asus and Infinix, plus iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch, Samsung Tablet and Microsoft Surface. If your model is not listed, message us anyway, since parts availability is the real limit rather than willingness.
Is there a warranty on a screen replacement?
Yes, a written warranty of up to 100 days depending on the job, honoured at any of our branches rather than only the one that did the work. If we cannot repair it, you do not pay for the attempt.
Why is my screen showing a green line when I never dropped it?
That is a panel failure rather than damage, and it often appears after a software update on OLED and AMOLED screens. Nothing in software will clear it and the display has to be replaced. It is common enough on certain models that we see it weekly.
Do I need an appointment for a screen repair?
No, walk in any day from 11am to 9pm. Message or call first though, so we can confirm we have the screen for your exact model in stock before you travel. Screens are model-specific and no shop stocks every panel.

What Phone Screen Repair Actually Involves

A phone screen is two parts bonded together: the glass you touch, and the display panel underneath that produces the picture. Most repairs replace both as one assembly, because on almost every modern phone they cannot be separated without specialist equipment. That is what the prices in the table above cover, per brand, using Original Grade parts.

The job itself is heat, patience and clean hands. The old assembly comes off with controlled heat and suction, the display connectors are released, the new panel goes in, and the phone is tested before it goes back to you. On most handsets it happens while you wait. Your data stays where it is, because replacing a screen does not involve wiping the phone.

LCD Replacement or Screen Glass Replacement: Which One Do You Need?

These sound like the same repair and they are not, which is why the price difference confuses people.

Screen replacement, the one this page prices, swaps the whole assembly. You need it if the display shows lines, patches of black, dead spots, discolouration, or nothing at all, or if touch has stopped responding. If the picture underneath is damaged, the glass alone will not fix it.

Screen glass replacement replaces only the outer glass and reuses your existing display. It is cheaper, and it is an option when the glass is cracked but the picture underneath is perfect and touch works everywhere. It is not available on every model, and it takes longer, because separating the glass from a good panel without ruining it is the fiddly part.

You do not have to work out which one you need. Bring the phone in, the diagnosis is free, and we will tell you which repair the damage actually calls for. If the cheaper one will do, that is the one we will quote.

How Much Does Phone Screen Repair Cost in Singapore?

Pick your brand from the table above for a live starting price, then your exact model for the figure that applies to it. Every price is nett, so what we quote after diagnosis is what you pay at collection.

Three things move the number. Panel technology matters most: an OLED or AMOLED panel costs considerably more than an LCD, which is why a flagship screen and a budget one can differ several times over. Screen shape is next, since curved and folding displays are harder to source and harder to fit than flat ones. Model age is the third, and it cuts both ways, because parts for very new and very old handsets are both harder to get than for something two years old.

Written up in more detail for the two brands people ask about most: iPhone screen replacement cost in Singapore and what it costs to fix a Samsung Galaxy screen. Laptop screens are priced separately on the MacBook repair page.

What Parts Do You Fit?

Original Grade parts as standard, across every brand on this page, and we name the grade before you agree to the repair rather than after.

iPhone is the one exception worth knowing about. Citri Mobile participates in Apple's Independent Repair Provider programme, so we can fit genuine Apple parts for eligible iPhone repairs under the Apple IRP programme when that is what you want. Details are on our Independent Repair Provider page. For Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, vivo, Huawei, Honor, OnePlus, realme, Pixel, Sony, LG, Asus, iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch and Surface, there is no equivalent manufacturer programme open to independent shops in Singapore, so those get Original Grade or quality parts and we will not pretend otherwise. If you want the trade-offs spelled out, we wrote them up in original versus OEM iPhone screens.

Should I Repair a Cracked Screen That Still Works?

Usually yes, and sooner rather than later.

A crack is an opening. Glass dust works down into the digitiser layer and moisture follows it, so a cracked screen that responds perfectly today often develops dead patches or ghost touch within weeks. At that point the cheaper glass-only repair is off the table and you are paying for the full assembly instead. Cracks also spread from the edges every time the phone flexes in a pocket.

There is a safety side too. Spidered glass catches skin and fingertips, and on a phone with a cracked corner the display underneath is no longer sealed against a spill.

Common Screen Problems We Repair

How Long Does a Phone Screen Repair Take?

Most take about 45 to 90 minutes when we have the part for your model in stock, and you can wait for it. Curved, folding and laptop screens take longer, and glass-only repairs take longer still because of the separation step. If your model is one of the slower ones, you will hear that when we quote rather than after you have handed the phone over.

Walk in any day from 11am to 9pm without an appointment. Message or call first though, so we can confirm we have your screen in stock before you make the trip. Screens are model-specific and we cannot shelf every panel for every handset.
