Google lists the current Singapore repair options and its authorised service partner on its Pixel support site, and the partner and its address have changed over the years, so check there rather than an older listing.

For a lot of Pixels here, that route is closed before you start. A phone bought in the US, the UK or Japan, or through a marketplace seller, is regularly refused by authorised service because it wasn't sold in this market. If that's your phone, the question isn't official or independent, it's who will actually work on it. We will, and the repair is the same job regardless of where the handset came from.

Everything else falls outside warranty anyway. Cracked screens and liquid damage aren't covered at any age by any manufacturer, and a battery worn down after a few years is wear rather than a defect. How Do I Find My Pixel Model Before a Repair?

Pixel naming is cleaner than most, but the a-series and the Pro variants use different displays, so a Pixel 7, a 7a and a 7 Pro are three different repairs.

Open Settings, then About phone. The model name is at the top and the model number, which looks like GVU6C or G03Z5, is further down. On an imported Pixel the model number matters more than usual, because regional variants exist and the part has to match. How Do I Know If My Pixel Needs a Battery Replacement, or Something Else?

Worth separating two things that feel identical to the owner. A worn battery and a phone working too hard both end with a dead handset by mid-afternoon, but only one of them is fixed by a new cell.

Check Settings, then Battery, and look at what has been using it. If one app dominates the list, or the screen-on time is high, the battery may be fine and the phone is simply being asked to do a lot. Tensor-generation Pixels run warm under load, and heat plus heavy use drains fast without meaning the cell has failed. The signs that it has actually failed are the shape of the discharge, where a worn cell clings near the top then drops in a rush, and shutdowns with charge still showing on the meter. That second one is the clearest signal there is.

Bring it in either way and the diagnosis is free. Being told your battery is fine and the problem is an app is a better outcome than paying for a battery you didn't need. If the phone has swollen, and you'll notice the screen lifting at one edge or the phone rocking on a table, stop charging it and come in.

Should You Repair or Replace Your Pixel?

The rough test: if the repair costs less than about a third of what your phone sells for used, repair it. A screen or a battery on a Pixel that's otherwise healthy clears that comfortably, and these phones keep getting software updates for years, which makes them worth holding on to longer than most Android handsets.

Where it gets marginal is a board-level fault on an older a-series Pixel, and we'll tell you plainly when we think the money is better spent elsewhere. On parts, Google has no parts programme for independent repairers in Singapore, so we fit Original Grade parts or a quality equivalent, never a manufacturer part, and we name the grade before you agree to anything.

On doing it yourself: Pixel screens are bonded and the under-display fingerprint sensor makes a screen swap fussier than it looks, since getting the panel on is only half of it.
