vivo Repair FAQs

Where can I repair a vivo phone in Singapore?
Citri Mobile repairs vivo phones at four walk-in branches: People's Park Centre in Chinatown, Tampines, Yishun and Jurong Point. No appointment needed, though message us first so we can confirm we have the part for your model in stock. If your phone is still inside vivo's warranty and the fault appeared on its own, go to the vivo service centre first, since that repair may cost you nothing.
Where is the vivo service centre in Singapore?
vivo publishes its current service centre address and opening hours on vivo.com/sg. Locations change, so check their site rather than an older listing. The official centre is the right choice for in-warranty faults. For accidental damage, out-of-warranty repairs or a phone bought overseas, an independent repair shop is usually faster and cheaper.
How much does a vivo screen replacement cost in Singapore?
From $55 depending on the model. A Y-series flat panel sits at the lower end and an X-series curved AMOLED at the higher end. Prices are nett with nothing added at collection, and your exact model's price is on its own page in the grid above.
How much is a vivo battery replacement?
From $40 for an Original Grade cell, or from $30 for a Grade AAA one on older handsets where a cheaper fix makes sense. We'll tell you which grade we're fitting before you agree.
Which vivo models do you repair?
Over a hundred, across the V, Y, X, S and T series as well as older handsets. If yours is in the grid at the top of this page it has its own repair page with prices. If it isn't listed, message us the model anyway, since parts availability is the real limit rather than willingness.
Do you use original vivo parts?
No, and no independent shop in Singapore can honestly claim to. vivo has no parts programme for independent repairers here, so we fit Original Grade parts or a quality equivalent and name the grade before you agree. Manufacturer parts only come through vivo's own service centre.
Can you repair a vivo phone bought overseas?
Yes. A phone bought abroad or from a marketplace seller is often refused by the official centre because the model was never sold here. That restriction doesn't apply to us. The repair is the same job regardless of where the phone was bought.
How long does a vivo repair take?
Most screen and battery jobs take about 45 to 90 minutes when we have your part in stock. If your model needs longer we'll say so when we quote. Water damage and board-level work take longer and get a realistic timing after the free diagnosis, because putting a number on it before opening the phone would be a guess.
Will I lose my photos and apps during a vivo repair?
No. Screen, battery, charging port and camera repairs don't require a factory reset, so your data stays on the phone. Back it up anyway before any repair, on any phone, anywhere.
My vivo screen is cracked but still works. Can I leave it?
You can, but it usually gets worse rather than staying still. Glass dust works into the digitiser through the crack, and a cracked screen that still responds today often becomes an unresponsive one within weeks. It's also cheaper to fix before the display underneath fails as well.
Do you repair vivo phones with a swollen battery?
Yes, and it's worth bringing in quickly. If the screen has started lifting at one edge or the phone rocks on a flat table, that's a swollen cell pushing from underneath. Stop charging it, don't press the screen back down, and bring it in. A swollen battery can crack the display and is a fire risk if punctured.
Which is the best vivo repair shop in Singapore?
Judge it on things you can check. Citri Mobile has four walk-in branches, is CaseTrust accredited and a Carousell Preferred Partner, gives a free diagnosis before you commit, prices nett with nothing added at the counter, and issues a written warranty of up to 100 days honoured at any branch. We'll also tell you when the vivo service centre is the better option for you, which a shop chasing every job wouldn't do.

A Trusted vivo Repair Shop in Singapore: Fast, Affordable and Data-Safe

Citri Mobile is an independent vivo repair shop in Singapore, and vivo is one of the deepest ranges we carry. Over a hundred models across the V, Y, X, S and T series, from current handsets back to the ones people are still using six years on. Screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, back glass, liquid damage and board-level faults all go through the same counter. Most walk-in vivo repairs are quoted nett after a free diagnosis and finished while you wait when your part is in stock, with your data left alone.

The two vivo repairs we see most are cracked displays on the V series and worn batteries on the Y series, which makes sense given how those phones get used here. V-series owners buy them for the camera and carry them without a case. Y-series phones tend to be a few years old by the time they reach us, and a battery at that age is simply worn rather than faulty. Screen replacement starts from $55 and batteries from $40.

vivo Service Centre in Singapore or an Independent Repair Shop: Which Do You Need?

Here's the honest answer first. Citri Mobile has no tie to vivo, and sometimes the official channel is the right call. If your phone is inside vivo's Singapore warranty and the fault turned up on its own, with no drop, no crack and no water, take it to the vivo service centre before paying anybody. That repair may cost you nothing. vivo runs its own service centre here and lists the current address and hours on its Singapore support site. You'll see it spelled service center as well. Same thing.

Most phones that reach our counter fall outside that window. A cracked screen isn't covered by any manufacturer warranty at any age, and neither is liquid damage. A battery that has faded after three years of daily charging is wear rather than a defect, so it rarely qualifies either. That's the gap an independent shop fills: walk in with no appointment, get a free diagnosis and a nett quote on the spot, and collect the phone the same visit for most jobs when we have your part. You keep your data too, since screen, battery and port work here doesn't involve a factory reset.

There's a third situation worth knowing about. A lot of vivo phones in Singapore were bought overseas or through a marketplace seller rather than a local retailer, and the official centre can decline service on a model never sold here. If that's your phone, the warranty question is already settled and an independent shop is the practical answer.

How Much Does vivo Repair Cost in Singapore? Cheap and Affordable Options

vivo repair prices start from the figures below. They come from our live price list and they're nett, so the amount quoted after diagnosis is the amount you pay at collection. Your exact figure depends on the model, since an X-series curved panel and a Y-series flat one are very different parts.

vivo repairFromTypical time
vivo Screen and LCD Replacement Singapore$5545–90 min
vivo Battery Replacement Singapore (Original Grade)$4045–90 min
vivo Battery Replacement Singapore (Grade AAA)$3045–90 min
vivo Charging Port Repair Singapore$3045–90 min
vivo Back Glass Replacement Singapore$4060–120 min
vivo Front Camera Repair Singapore$3045–90 min
vivo Camera Lens Replacement Singapore$3045–90 min
vivo Power Button Repair Singapore$4045–90 min
vivo Water Damage Repair Singapore$45Quoted after diagnosis

Board-level faults, the ones where the phone won't boot or has lost signal entirely, are quoted after a free diagnosis rather than priced up front, because we don't know what we're dealing with until it's open. Times above are what most jobs take. If yours needs longer we'll tell you when we quote, not after you've handed the phone over.

Affordable vivo Repair Services We Offer

vivo Screen and Display Replacement, from $55

Cracked glass, a black display on a phone you can still hear ringing, coloured lines, or touch that has stopped answering in one part of the screen. The price range on vivo is wide for a reason. A Y-series flat panel is one of the cheaper Android screens we fit, while an X-series curved AMOLED is among the more expensive, and both are called a vivo screen. We use Original Grade parts and tell you which grade is going in before you agree. See vivo screen replacement.

vivo Battery Replacement, from $40

If the phone drops from 40% to nothing, shuts down with charge still showing, or won't last an afternoon when it used to manage a day, the battery is worn. Two or three years of daily charging does that to any phone and it isn't a fault. We fit Original Grade cells, and there's a cheaper Grade AAA option from $30 for older handsets where a lower-cost fix makes more sense. See vivo battery replacement.

vivo Charging Port Repair, from $30

Before you assume the worst, shine a torch into the port. Pocket lint packs in until the cable can't seat properly, and that's a clean-out rather than a repair. If the cable feels loose, only charges at a certain angle, or cuts in and out when you move the phone, the port itself has worn. Our guide to telling a charging port fault from a battery fault was written for Samsung but the diagnosis is the same on any Android. See vivo charging port repair.

vivo Camera Repair, from $30

Camera work matters more on vivo than on most brands, because people buy these phones for the camera in the first place. The commonest job by far is a cracked rear lens cover, which is cheap and quick, and often mistaken for a broken camera module. Blurry photos with no visible damage are usually the lens cover scratched or the module itself. Front camera faults, including face unlock that has stopped working, start from $30. See vivo camera lens replacement.

vivo Back Glass Replacement, from $40

Worth doing sooner than people think. A cracked back isn't just cosmetic: it lets dust and moisture at the internals, and the edges catch skin. This one takes longer than a screen because the back panel is bonded and has to come off with heat. See vivo back glass replacement.

vivo Water Damage Repair, from $45

Liquid doesn't kill a phone on contact, corrosion does over the following hours and days. So don't charge it, skip the rice, and get it opened. We do a full chemical wash and board-level diagnostics. Outcomes depend honestly on how long it sat before it reached us, which is why this is quoted after we've looked rather than priced on a list. See vivo water damage repair, and our guide to spotting and fixing water damage covers what to do in the first hour.

How Do I Find My vivo Model Before a Repair?

Parts are ordered against the exact model, and vivo's naming makes this trickier than most. A V29, a V29e and a V29 Pro are three different phones with three different screens, and the difference isn't printed anywhere on the outside.

Open Settings, then About phone. The model name and model number are both listed there. If the phone won't turn on, the model number is printed in small type on the SIM tray or under the back cover on older handsets, and it's on the box if you still have it. Sending us that number rather than "a vivo V29" is the difference between a quote you can rely on and a guess. You can also find your handset in the model grid at the top of this page, which takes you to its own repair page with prices for that exact phone.

How Do I Know If My vivo Needs a Battery Replacement?

Android doesn't expose battery health as plainly as some phones do, but there are three signs that are reliable on their own.

First, the shape of the discharge. A healthy battery falls steadily. A worn one holds near the top, then drops in a rush somewhere in the middle. Second, sudden shutdowns with charge still on the meter, especially when it's cold or the phone is working hard. That's the cell no longer able to deliver current under load, and it's the clearest sign of all. Third, heat while charging that wasn't there a year ago.

On vivo you can also open the dialler and enter *#*#6485#*#* on many models to see battery health data, though vivo has changed what that code shows across software versions, so treat it as a hint rather than a verdict. If the phone is swollen, and you'll notice because the screen starts lifting at one edge or the phone rocks on a flat table, stop charging it and bring it in. That one is urgent.

Common vivo Problems We Repair and What Causes Them

Should You Repair or Replace Your vivo?

A rule that has held up well: if the repair costs less than about a third of what your phone sells for used, repair it. On a current V or X series handset a screen or battery clears that bar easily. On a five-year-old Y-series phone with a board fault, it often doesn't, and we'll say so plainly rather than take the job.

On parts, we're straight with you about grade. vivo has no parts programme for independent repairers in Singapore, so what we fit is Original Grade or a quality equivalent, never a manufacturer part, and we name the grade before you agree to anything. Any shop telling you otherwise about an out-of-warranty vivo is selling you a story.

Doing it yourself is harder than the videos suggest. vivo phones use strong adhesive and thin flex cables that tear if you lift the wrong way, and a torn display flex turns a battery job into a screen job. If you've already opened it and something has gone wrong, bring it in anyway. We see plenty of those. If the phone really is past saving, we also do phone trade-ins, and our guide on repair versus replace walks through the maths.

How Does Citri Mobile vivo Repair Work?

  1. Tell us the model. The exact one from Settings, About phone, plus a photo of the damage. That's usually enough for a quote before you travel.
  2. Free diagnosis. We find the real fault first. Often it's the cheaper of the two things it could be, and you should know that before paying.
  3. A nett quote you approve. One number, nothing added at collection. If you'd rather not go ahead, the diagnosis still costs nothing.
  4. The repair. Most vivo screen and battery jobs are done while you wait when we have the part for your model in stock.
  5. Tested, then warranty. We check it works before handing it back, and it leaves with a written warranty.
