How much is an iPhone battery replacement in Singapore, by model?
Here's every model we price, newest first. Original Grade is the battery most people choose. The genuine Apple battery comes through Apple's Independent Repair Provider (IRP) programme and is offered from the iPhone 11 up. There's a third option on the iPhone 12, 13, 14 and 15: an Original Grade battery fitted so iOS doesn't put up its battery warning message, at $65. It sits between the other two on price. Ask for it by name when you message us.

How much does it cost to change an iPhone battery?
At Citri Mobile, $25–$70 with an Original Grade cell, or $110–$130 for a genuine Apple battery fitted under the Apple IRP programme. The spread comes down to the model. Older phones with small cells sit at the bottom. The iPhone 17 range and the Air sit at the top.
The number in the table is the number you pay. There's no diagnosis fee on top, and nothing gets added at the counter.
The 80% battery health rule
Apple designs iPhone batteries to keep about 80% of their original capacity after around 500 full charge cycles. On most phones that's somewhere between eighteen months and two years of normal use. Below 80%, the battery is worn by Apple's own definition, and you'll feel it: shorter days, slower charging, the odd shutdown when it's cold.
Check yours in Settings → Battery → Battery Health & Charging and read Maximum Capacity. At 80% or below, or if you see "Service", it's time to replace the battery.
Signs you need a new iPhone battery
The percentage isn't the only giveaway. These are the ones people actually notice:
- It shuts down with charge left. A worn cell can't deliver a burst of current, so the phone cuts out at 20 or 30% instead of draining to zero. This is the most common reason people come in.
- The day doesn't last any more. Full at breakfast, 20% by mid-afternoon.
- It feels slow after an update. iOS throttles a worn battery to stop it shutting down, and that shows up as lag.
- It runs warm and charges slowly. Especially if it's warm while sitting idle.
- The screen is lifting at one edge. That's a swelling battery. More on that below.

Original Grade or genuine Apple battery: which should you pick?
Both charge properly and both bring back a full day. The difference is what iOS does afterwards.
- Genuine Apple battery. Fitted under the Apple IRP programme. Settings keeps reporting Maximum Capacity the way it always did, with no warning messages. It costs more.
- Original Grade battery. A quality aftermarket cell. iOS can't identify it, so it shows an "Unknown Part" note and stops reporting the health percentage. The phone charges and runs exactly as it should. iOS just won't vouch for a part it didn't make.
That's the whole trade. Anyone telling you an Original Grade battery will damage your iPhone is selling you something. Pick on whether the health readout matters to you. If it does, or you're selling the phone soon and want a clean Settings screen, go for the genuine IRP battery. If you just want the phone to last the day again, Original Grade does that for less.
What should you look for in an iPhone battery replacement?
People search for the best iPhone battery replacement in Singapore, and the honest answer is that "best" is something you can check rather than something a shop can claim. Five questions sort most shops out in a couple of minutes:
- Is the price for your model published? A per-model price you can read before you travel beats a "from" figure and a quote at the counter.
- Which battery is it, by name? Genuine Apple under IRP, Original Grade, or something cheaper. If a shop won't say, assume the cheapest.
- What happens to Battery Health afterwards? The right answer depends on the battery, and a good shop tells you before you pay rather than after.
- What's the warranty, and is it written down? Ours is up to 100 days on the battery. Get the number, not "we'll look after you".
- Is the phone tested before you get it back? A good shop checks charging, Face ID or Touch ID, the cameras and the screen after the phone has been opened, before it hands it over.
One thing worth knowing whatever shop you use: once an iPhone has been opened, its water resistance isn't what it was from the factory. Keep that in mind at the pool.
Should you go to Apple for an iPhone battery replacement?
If your iPhone is still under AppleCare+ and Battery Health is below 80%, yes. Apple replaces it at no charge, and nobody else can match free. Check your coverage on Apple's battery service page first.
Out of warranty it's an ordinary comparison. Apple's estimate tool on that same page gives the fee for your model, and you'll need a Genius Bar or service-provider appointment. Others want it done today without an appointment, at a lower price, with the genuine IRP battery still available on the iPhone 11 and later.
iPhone X, XR, XS and iPhone 11 battery replacement
A lot of people searching for a battery are holding an older phone, so here's the straight answer for these four.
iPhone X, XR and XS: $40 each with an Original Grade battery. The genuine Apple battery under IRP isn't offered for these models. Is it worth it? If the phone does what you need, yes, because a battery costs a fraction of any replacement phone. But be clear-eyed about software. The iPhone X stopped getting major iOS updates at iOS 16, and the XR and XS stopped at iOS 18, so some banking and government apps will drop support sooner or later. A battery won't change that.
iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max: $40 to $45 with an Original Grade battery. This is the oldest model where we can fit a genuine Apple battery under the Apple IRP programme, at $110. The 11 still gets current iOS, so a new battery here buys real time.
Is a swollen battery dangerous?
Treat it as urgent. If the screen is lifting at the edges, the back is bulging, or the phone rocks on a flat table, stop charging it, don't press the screen back down, and bring it in soon. A swelling battery can crack the display from the inside, and in rare cases it can catch fire. Removing one safely is routine work for us.
Is it worth replacing the battery, or buying a new phone?

How long does an iPhone battery replacement take?
Most are done while you wait, usually somewhere between 45 and 90 minutes once we start. If yours needs longer, say the old battery is glued down hard or the screen has been opened before, we'll tell you before we begin.

How to make a new battery last longer
- Keep it cool. Heat wears batteries faster than anything else. Don't leave the phone on a car dashboard or charging under a pillow.
- Leave Optimised Battery Charging on (Settings → Battery → Charging). It holds at 80% overnight and finishes just before you usually unplug.
- Don't drain it to zero on purpose. Topping up through the day is fine. Full 0-to-100 cycles do nothing useful.
- Keep iOS updated. Updates often improve how the phone manages power.
