Huawei runs authorised service centres in Singapore for warranty work, and independent repair shops handle everything else. If your Huawei is still under warranty and the fault is a manufacturing defect, go to the official centre. If it's out of warranty, or the fault is a cracked screen, a worn battery or liquid damage, an independent shop is usually faster and cheaper. Screen repairs at Citri Mobile start from $60 and batteries from $40, nett.

Should I go to the official Huawei service centre?

Yes, in three situations, and we'd rather tell you that than take a job you shouldn't be paying for.

  • The device is under warranty and the fault isn't your doing. A screen that failed on its own, a charging fault with no history of a drop, a camera that stopped focusing. That's warranty work and it should cost you nothing.
  • You need a software or firmware fix tied to Huawei's own systems. Account lockouts, EMUI or HarmonyOS rollbacks, anything that needs Huawei's service tooling.
  • The phone is very new. On a current flagship, official parts supply is the safer route.

Check Huawei's own service centre listing for current locations and hours, since these move.

Note that warranty on a Huawei bought overseas is a real problem in Singapore. Grey imports are common with Huawei, and the official centre can decline service on a model never sold here. If you bought yours from a marketplace seller rather than a Huawei store or telco, assume you'll be paying.

When is an independent repair the better call?

Out of warranty, or accidental damage, which the warranty doesn't cover anyway. That's most of what we see.

Cracked screens are the bulk of it. Batteries that have stopped holding a day's charge. Charging ports full of pocket lint or worn from years of cable pulling. Phones that went into a pool. None of that is warranty work at any brand, so the question stops being "official or not" and becomes "who fixes it properly for a fair price".

The other reason people come to us is age. Huawei's older models, the P20s and Mate 20s still in daily use, sit outside official parts support. We still carry parts for a lot of them.

How much does Huawei repair cost in Singapore?

Real figures from our catalog, nett, so the price we quote after diagnosis is what you pay at collection.

RepairPrice range
Screen replacement (Original Grade)$60–$100
LCD replacement (Original Grade)$45–$280
Battery replacement (Original Grade)$40–$65
Charging port$40–$70
Back glass$45
Water damage (chemical wash)$45
Motherboard / board-levelQuoted after a free diagnosis

The screen range is wide because a Mate 60 Pro panel and a Y-series panel are not the same part. Your exact model's price is on the Huawei repair page.

We use Original Grade parts on Huawei. Huawei isn't Apple, so we make no genuine-manufacturer-parts claim here, and we'll tell you which grade is going into your phone before you agree to the repair.

Which Huawei models do you repair?

P series, Mate series, Nova, Y series, Enjoy and MediaPad tablets, across about 98 models in our catalog. The ones that come in most often are the P30 and P40, the Mate 20 and Mate 30, and Nova handsets, usually for screens and batteries.

If yours is older than that, ask anyway. Parts availability on discontinued Huawei models is the real constraint, not willingness, and we'd rather check the shelf than guess.

How long does a Huawei repair take?

Most screen and battery jobs run about 45 to 90 minutes. If your model needs longer, we'll tell you when we quote rather than after you've committed. Water damage and board-level work takes longer and gets a realistic timing after the free diagnosis, because putting a number on it before opening the phone would be a guess.

What we see at the counter

Two Huawei-specific things worth knowing.

First, battery swelling on the older P and Mate models is common enough that we check for it on any Huawei that comes in with a screen lifting at one edge. Owners usually think the screen adhesive has failed. It's the battery underneath pushing it up, and it needs dealing with rather than glueing back down.

Second, a lot of Huawei owners assume nobody repairs them any more because of the Google services situation. That affects apps, not hardware. A cracked screen is a cracked screen, and the repair is the same job it always was.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the Huawei service centre in Singapore?
Huawei lists its authorised service centres on its own support site. Locations and hours change, so check consumer.huawei.com/sg for the current list rather than relying on an older listing.
How much is a Huawei screen replacement in Singapore?
At Citri Mobile, from $60 depending on the model. Flagship P and Mate panels cost more than Y and Nova ones. Prices are nett with nothing added at collection.
Can I repair a Huawei phone that's out of warranty?
Yes. Out-of-warranty Huawei repair is most of what independent shops do. Screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras and liquid damage are all repairable regardless of warranty status.
Is my overseas Huawei covered by warranty in Singapore?
Often not. Huawei's authorised centre can decline service on models never officially sold here, which affects a lot of grey-import handsets. Independent repair has no such restriction.
Do you repair old Huawei models?
Where we can get the part, yes, including P20, P30, Mate 20 and Mate 30 handsets. Parts availability is the limit on discontinued models, so message us your exact model and we'll check the shelf.
What warranty do I get on a Huawei repair?
30-100 days depending on the repair, honoured at any of our four shops rather than only the one that did the work.

Getting it fixed

Four shops: People's Park Centre in Chinatown, Tampines, Yishun and Jurong Point, open 11am–9pm daily. 4.8★ from 1100+ Google reviews.

Message us your model and a photo of the damage on WhatsApp and we'll quote before you travel. Walk-ins are fine any day, but message first so we can confirm we have your part in stock. Diagnosis is free, and if the fault is something the official centre should cover under warranty, we'll point you there instead.
