About the Samsung A35

The Galaxy A35 was Samsung's 2024 mid-ranger, and it earned its keep: a Super AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, and an IP67 rating made it feel closer to a flagship than its price suggested. Plenty of them are still in daily service across Singapore, which is exactly when the wear starts to show.

By this age we mostly see two things: drop damage to the display or back glass, and batteries that have lost their morning-to-night stamina. AMOLED panels on Samsungs of this generation can also develop the well-known vertical green line, which we cover below.
